The Legacy of Vicente Vendemmia

Vendemmia Joyero began in the childhood of its founder, Vicente Vendemmia. At the tender age of 11 years old, he immersed himself in the fascinating world of goldsmithing as an apprentice in a modest jeweler’s workshop. In 1934, he decided to establish his own boutique in the city of Mendoza, giving birth to Vendemmia Joyero.

The fusion of ancestral craftsmanship in goldsmithing, technological innovations, exclusive designs, Vicente’s dedication, and his commitment to excellence, positioned Vendemmia Joyero as an undisputed leader, leaving a lasting legacy in the world of Mendoza’s jewelry.

Later, the catalog expanded to include prestigious watch brands such as Rolex, Cartier, Omega, and Tag Heuer, among others.

Today, the Vendemmia family maintains the same passion and values that defined the brand over the years: experience, professionalism, commitment to quality, exclusivity, and innovation.

This ongoing commitment ensures that Vendemmia Joyero remains synonymous to distinction and excellence in the universe of jewelry and watches through its strategic locations: the main store in the heart of the City of Mendoza and branches at Palmares Open Mall and Mendoza Shopping.

Vendemmia Joyero: Guardian of Mendoza’s Identity

VENDIMIAL CROWN AND SCEPTER

In 1994, as a gesture of gratitude to the Mendoza community, Vendemmia Joyero crafted and generously donated two jewels to the provincial government: the crown and scepter of the National Queen of the Grape Harvest (Reina Nacional de la Vendimia).

These jewelry pieces were conceived by jeweler Enzo Vendemmia and brought to life by a specialized team of goldsmiths and artisans.

Each year, during the celebration of the National Grape Harvest Festival (Fiesta Nacional de la Vendimia), the elected National Queen receives these attributes with honor. They symbolize the identity and cultural legacy of the region and are part of the provincial heritage.

GOVERNOR’S BATON

The responsibility of crafting the governor’s baton was entrusted to Vendemmia Joyero for the first time in 2010, marking the beginning of a tradition that continues to this day. Since then, Mendoza’s governors have proudly carried this emblem, bearing the unmistakable hallmark of our brand’s quality.

Every four years, we embark on creating a unique design. An expert team, consisting of a jeweler and a carpenter, collaborates harmoniously to craft this singular piece.

This meticulous process ensures that each governor’s baton is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece, reflecting the artisanal excellence and unwavering commitment of Vendemmia Joyero to distinction and tradition.
